Depression can be taboo, and due to the COVID pandemic, it is even more common now.
Unfortunately, depression can trigger the belief that we're never going to come out of the various traumas we're going through.
The reality is whether we're still around or not, the world will continue to turn, and humans will endure.
Whether it's good or bad, it doesn't last forever. That's one of the big things we have to understand, especially if in a dark place.
Over the years, I have helped many amazing people that have some depression invest their money.
I'm more than happy to reduce investment risk for clients that prefer not to experience negative consequences. But I don't think we should fall into the negativity traps and assume that the American way of life will fail miserably.
Frankly, I've witnessed hundreds of millions of dollars wasted, perhaps billions from the constant fear-mongering types. Remember that fear sells, and most of them are selling something.
I'm not being Pollyanna; I am pragmatic.
Be careful which team you root for; after all, if you root for the end of the world and it happens, what's the upside?
If you take a stance that we will almost certainly continue to evolve, learn, and benefit one another, it sounds to me like a heck of a long-term opportunity!
Thanks for taking a look, and we are here to help if you would like to talk.
